My name is Francesco Vincenti. I was born in Comiso, a small village in the South of Sicily. From the very beginning I have been growing up and living in a world rotating around photography based in my parent’s studio. This way, I developed a strong passion towards photography which has been growing stronger every day due to my deep dedication and devotement. When I was four years old, I took my first picture portraying my grand-parents. It was in this special moment that I realised that from now on photography would accompany every moment for the rest of my life.
During the following years, I have been studying, refining and intensifying the technique of this form of art by helping out my father in his daily job as a photographer. Having finished high school, I decided to move to Milan in order to follow a childhood dream that I have always wanted to make come true: working in the world of fashion. After having assisted many photographers, I have started various collaborations with fashion agencies by carrying out photo shootings for them. Therefore I have started to look at the outside world and everything around me in a different way which encouraged me to perceive and understand my own idea of photography. Now I’m doing campaigns and catalogues for fashion brands and editorials and cover stories for magazines.
Mi chiamo Francesco Vincenti, nasco a Comiso, un piccolo paese della Sicilia meridionale. Sin da piccolo cresco e vivo in un mondo che gira intorno alla Fotografia, lo studio fotografico dei miei genitori. Nasce così, questo amore verso la fotografia, che fino ad ora nutro e coltivo! All’età di 4 anni produco il mio primo scatto ritraendo i miei nonni da quel momento capisco che la fotografia sarebbe stata la compagna di ogni singolo istante della mia vita.
Durante gli anni, studio, perfeziono e approfondisco le tecniche aiutando mio padre nei suoi lavori fotografici. Dopo il diploma decido di spostarmi a Milano per inseguire il sogno che da sempre volevo raggiungere, lavorare nel mondo della Moda. Giorno dopo giorno, facendo da assistente a fotografi e dopo varie collaborazioni con agenzie di moda scattando shooting fotografici, inizio così, ad osservare con un altro occhio il mondo esterno e tutto quello che mi stavo intorno: percepisco e interpreto il mio concetto di fotografia. Adesso realizzo campagne e cataloghi per marchi moda ed editoriali e copertine per vari magazine di livello internazionale.
